Annual Day Celebration at Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavla

Auxilium Convent High School in Lonavla hosted its much-awaited Annual Day celebrations on December 19th and 20th, 2023, marking two days of vibrant cultural extravaganza and heartwarming performances by the primary and secondary sections respectively.

Primary Section Annual Day (December 19th, 2023):

The primary section of Auxilium Convent High School set the stage ablaze with a spectacular showcase of cultural dances from various states of India. The colorful performances illuminated the auditorium as students adorned in traditional attire mesmerized the audience with their graceful movements and infectious energy.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sr. Caroline Menezes, the Manager of the school, who served as the chief guest. In her address to the parents, Sr. Caroline emphasized the importance of nurturing each child’s unique talents and traits with the collective support of teachers and parents. Her inspiring message resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic development.

In addition to the cultural dances, college students staged a thought-provoking street play on the boon and bane of mobile phones in today’s lifestyle. The play sparked meaningful discussions on the impact of technology on society, urging viewers to reflect on their digital habits.

The chief guest for the day was Mr. Satya Sai Karthik, an IPS officer of the 2020 batch of Maharashtra cadre. Mr. Karthik, in his address, shared insightful anecdotes from his life and emphasized the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future of the nation. He urged parents to place their trust in teachers and encouraged students to strive for excellence in all endeavors, emphasizing the importance of living in the present moment.

The Annual Day celebration also provided an opportunity to honor the retiring staff of the school, including Tr. Sangeeta Pawar, Tr. Mercy Paulachan, and Tr. Jessy Matthew, for their dedicated service. Additionally, Tr. Unita Patrao and Tr. Supriya Hinge were felicitated for their 25 years of exemplary service to the school.
